Short Bio

Your short bio is a brief summary that appears prominently on your profile. Mention your main instrument(s), any specialties, and keep it warm and approachable.

Location

Your location shows your country and province or region to help students understand your time zone and general area. Your exact address is never shown. You can update your location in the location settings guide.

Instruments & Subjects Display

Lists all instruments and musical subjects you teach. Keeping this accurate improves your visibility in Tissimo search results. Students can browse teachers at Music Teachers and filter by instrument.

Add Profile Video

A short, friendly profile video lets prospective students hear you speak before booking. See adding a profile video for instructions on linking a YouTube or Vimeo video.

• Minimum 30 seconds, maximum 5 minutes.
• You must appear in the video.
• Background should be professional and music-related.
• Audio must be clear.

Languages

List all languages you can teach in. Students may specifically search for teachers who speak their language. See setting teaching languages for instructions.

Levels Taught Display

Shows the student levels you teach: Beginner, Intermediate, and/or Advanced. Students filter by level when searching. To see how your profile looks to a prospective student, use preview profile as student.
