What is a Course?

Courses are the core teaching units on Tissimo. Each course represents a specific instrument or subject you offer for private lessons, and students enroll by booking lessons within a course. You can manage all your courses from the Course Management page.

Course Basics

• Each course is tied to one instrument or subject (e.g., Piano, Guitar, Music Theory).
• A course can have one or more levels — from Beginner to Advanced — so students can self-select the right fit.
• Courses are priced on an hourly basis; you set the rate.
• You can offer multiple lesson duration options (e.g., 30 min, 45 min, 60 min) within a single course.

How Students Enroll

Students browse your teacher profile on Tissimo, view your courses, and book a lesson of their preferred duration. Once booked, the lesson appears on both your and the student's calendar. Students can find you through the Music Courses directory as well.
