Teacher Features on Mobile

Tissimo's teacher dashboard and classroom tools are fully accessible on mobile devices. You can manage your schedule, communicate with students, and run lessons from your phone or tablet with touch-optimised controls.

Teacher Dashboard on Mobile

The mobile dashboard gives you a summary of your day: upcoming lessons, recent notifications, and quick access to your student list. The layout adapts to a single-column view for easy navigation on smaller screens.

Schedule

Your upcoming lessons appear on your dashboard in a mobile-friendly day-by-day view. Tap a day to see that day's lessons, and tap a lesson for details or to join the classroom when the lesson is about to begin. The schedule page also lets you manage your availability from your phone.

Managing Students

The students section lists each of your students with their photo, lesson info, and quick actions, making it easy to tap and view individual student details and notes. Scroll through your student list or use the search bar to find a specific student quickly.

Notifications

Receive push-style notifications for new bookings, messages, and lesson reminders. Check the notifications section on your dashboard to stay on top of all activity.

Classroom Tools on Mobile

When teaching from a mobile device, classroom tools adapt to touch:

  • Piano and guitar tools — Tap-friendly controls for demonstrating notes and chords.
  • Metronome, music sheets, notes, and messages — All available from the mobile toolbar menu.
  • Camera switch — Quickly switch between front and rear cameras to show your instrument or the room.

Tips for Teaching on Mobile

  • Use a tablet rather than a phone if possible for a larger view of your student.
  • Position your device on a stable stand at instrument height.
  • Connect to Wi-Fi for the most reliable lesson experience.

For student-side mobile features, see Student Features on Mobile. For general setup, see Getting Started with the Tissimo Mobile App.
