Getting Started with the Tissimo Mobile App

Tissimo is a mobile-responsive web application that works directly in your phone or tablet's browser. There is no separate app to download from the App Store or Google Play. You sign in with the same account you use on desktop.

Recommended Browsers

For the best experience on mobile, use Google Chrome. Tissimo also works in Safari on iOS devices. Other browsers may work but are not officially supported for classroom features.

Accessing Tissimo on Mobile

1. Open Chrome or Safari on your phone or tablet.
2. Go to tissimo.co.
3. Sign in with your existing email and password, or create a new account.
4. You will see the same dashboard as on desktop, adapted to fit your screen.

Adding Tissimo to Your Home Screen

For quick access, you can add Tissimo to your home screen so it opens like a native app:

• Chrome (Android) — Tap the three-dot menu, then tap Add to Home screen.
• Safari (iOS) — Tap the share icon, then tap Add to Home Screen.

This creates a shortcut that launches Tissimo in a full-screen browser window.

Touch-Optimised Controls

The classroom and navigation are designed for touch, and the layout adapts to fit your screen. The mobile menu, opened from the menu button in the top navigation bar, provides access to the same features as the desktop sidebar.

Tips for Mobile Lessons

• Use a stable Wi-Fi connection rather than mobile data when possible.
• Close other apps to free up memory and processing power.
• Position your device on a stand so the camera captures you clearly.
