Student Features on Mobile

Every student feature on Tissimo is available on your phone or tablet. The mobile layout adapts to a single-column design so you can browse teachers, manage lessons, and join the classroom from anywhere.

Student Dashboard

Your dashboard displays your upcoming lessons, your courses, and your practice stats. On mobile, the layout stacks into a single column for easy scrolling.

Browsing and Booking Teachers

Use the teacher search to find instructors by instrument, availability, or price. Teacher profile cards are touch-friendly — tap a profile to view details, then tap Book now to select a time slot.

Viewing Your Schedule

Your lessons page shows all upcoming and past lessons in a list view. Tap any lesson for details, including the time, teacher name, and a button to join when the lesson is about to start.

Messaging

The messaging feature works as a mobile-friendly thread view. Tap a conversation to open it, type your message, and send. You can message your teachers to ask questions or confirm details between lessons.

Sheet Music Library

Access your saved sheet music with touch-friendly scrolling. Tap a score to open it in the viewer, and use the zoom controls for a closer look at the notation.

Joining the Classroom

When it is time for a lesson, tap Join on your lesson from the lessons page or dashboard. Your browser will ask for camera and microphone permissions — make sure to grant both. The classroom interface adjusts for mobile with larger tap targets and a simplified layout.

Tips for Students on Mobile

• Use a device stand or prop up your phone so your teacher can see you clearly.
• Connect headphones to reduce echo during lessons.
• Close other apps before joining a lesson to improve performance.
