Teacher Dashboard Overview

The Teacher Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in as a teacher. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your teaching activity and serves as a starting point for navigating to any part of your account.

Dashboard Stats at a Glance

The top section of the dashboard displays your most important numbers:

  • Weekly goal progress: The welcome box shows how much of your weekly teaching goal you have fulfilled so far.
  • Time spent teaching: The hours and minutes you have taught, viewable over the past 7, 30, or 90 days.
  • Tier progress: How many hours you have taught since your last tier progression and how close you are to the next tier — your tier affects your earnings.

Upcoming Lessons Panel

Alongside your stats, you'll see a list of your upcoming lessons, grouped by day, with student name, instrument, and start and end times — your next lesson is highlighted with a “Next lesson” badge. Click any lesson to open its detail view, or use the Join button that appears on a lesson when it’s time to start.

Notifications Feed

The notifications feed on the right side of the dashboard shows recent events on your account — such as new bookings and cancellations — along with your unread messages. It’s a quick way to catch anything that needs your attention without checking each section individually.

Navigating to Other Sections

The dashboard is a launching pad. Use the main navigation to reach:

  • Courses: Full course management including students, lessons, and settings. See the Course Management Dashboard for an overview.
  • Schedule: Your lesson calendar and availability management.
  • Financial: Detailed earnings, payout history, and payout methods. Visit Finances for full details.
  • Messages: Direct messages from your students at Messages.

Using the Dashboard for Daily Workflow

A practical daily routine: check the dashboard when you log in to confirm upcoming lessons for the day, review the notifications feed for any new bookings or cancellations, and use the upcoming lessons panel to navigate directly into your classroom when a session is starting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my earnings figure look lower than expected?

The Financial page shows your take-home pay after Tissimo's service fee, not your gross lesson revenue. For a full breakdown including your commission tier and any bonuses applied, visit the Financial section. You can also read about understanding service fees and take-home pay.

Is the dashboard real-time?

Most stats on the dashboard update in real time or within a few minutes of an event occurring. Payout figures may have a short processing delay.

Can I customize the dashboard view?

Dashboard layout is currently standardized. You can, however, adjust notification preferences in Settings > Notifications to control which notifications you receive.
