Understanding Tissimo Service Fees and Your Take-Home Pay
Tissimo uses a transparent tiered fee structure. The more you teach, the higher your tier — and the more you take home from each lesson. This page explains how tiers, bonuses, and payouts work.
Tier Structure
Your tier is based on your cumulative teaching hours on Tissimo. Each tier determines the percentage of the lesson price you keep:
- Tier 0 and Tier 1 — you take home 68% of the lesson price.
- Tier 2 — you take home 71% of the lesson price.
- Tier 3 — you take home 74% of the lesson price.
- Tier 4 — you take home 77% of the lesson price.
As you teach more hours and move up tiers, your take-home percentage increases automatically.
Bonus Earnings
On top of your tier percentage, you can earn two stackable bonuses:
Loyalty Bonus
For every 10 lessons you complete with the same student, you earn an additional +0.25% take-home on that student's lessons, up to a maximum of +3% per student. This rewards long-term commitment to teaching on Tissimo.
Price Bonus
For every $5 your lesson price is above $50, you earn an additional +0.25% take-home, up to a maximum of +5%. Setting competitive, higher-value pricing is rewarded.
Both bonuses stack on top of your tier percentage. For example, a Tier 3 teacher with maximum loyalty and price bonuses could earn 74% + 3% + 5% = 82% take-home.
Setting Up Payouts with Stripe
Before you can receive payouts, you need to complete Stripe Financial Onboarding:
- Go to your Stripe onboarding page from your teacher dashboard.
- Verify your identity by uploading a valid ID document.
- Add your bank account or debit card for receiving payouts.
- Complete all required steps — Stripe will confirm when you are set up.
Once onboarding is complete, your earnings are added to your balance automatically after each lesson, and you can withdraw them from your Finances page.
