Setting Up Recurring Weekly Lessons
Once you have completed a trial lesson and decided to continue with a teacher, you can set up recurring weekly lessons. Your lessons will be auto-scheduled at the same day and time each week so you never have to rebook manually.
How to Set Up Recurring Lessons
- Start from your Lessons dashboard and click Book lesson for the course you want to continue. Recurring lessons unlock once you have completed a trial lesson with the teacher.
- Choose Recurring as the lesson type.
- Choose a lesson duration if the teacher offers multiple options.
- Select your preferred weekly day and time slot from the teacher's availability.
- Complete checkout. Every lesson in the next 30 days is scheduled and charged right away — your course credits are used first — and your upcoming lessons appear on the calendar immediately.
How Course Balance Works
Tissimo uses a per-course balance system. Each course with a teacher has its own balance, and upcoming lessons are deducted from that balance automatically. If you enable auto-refill, your balance is topped up using your payment method on file when it runs low.
- Your balance is tied to a specific course, not shared across teachers.
- You can view your current balance from your Lessons page.
- If enabled, auto-refill keeps lessons running without interruption — otherwise lessons pause when credits run out.
Managing Your Schedule
You can manage your recurring lessons from your Lessons page. From there you can view upcoming lessons, cancel a specific lesson, or pause your recurring schedule.
If you need to change the weekly time, use Reschedule series on your recurring lesson card to pick a new slot from your teacher's availability.
Tips for Success
- Pick a consistent time that fits your weekly routine — regularity builds momentum.
- Keep enough balance loaded to cover at least two to three weeks of lessons.
- Use the Practice page between lessons to reinforce what you learned.
