Saving and Managing Favourite Courses
When you find a teacher you like but are not ready to book yet, you can save their course to your favourites. This lets you build a shortlist and come back to compare teachers at your own pace.
Saving a Course
You can save a course from two places:
- From a course card in the course catalog: Click the heart icon on the card. The heart turns solid to confirm the course has been saved. Explore Music Courses to find the right fit. Use search filters to narrow results by instrument, price, or level.
- From a teacher's full profile page: Open one of the teacher's courses and click the heart icon next to the course title. You can save multiple courses from the same teacher if they offer more than one. See reading a teacher profile for a guide to what's on each profile.
You do not need to be logged in to tap the heart, but you will be prompted to sign in or create an account before the save is recorded.
Viewing Your Favourites
To see all your saved courses:
- Go to the Music Courses page.
- Click the My favorites button (with the heart icon) next to the filters.
Your favourites view shows all saved courses as cards, including the teacher's name, rating, and price.
Using Favourites to Compare Teachers
Once you have saved several courses, your favourites list becomes a handy comparison tool:
- Scan prices side by side without returning to the search results.
- Check each teacher's availability to see who fits your schedule best.
- Review star ratings in one place.
- Click through to any profile for a deeper look before making your final decision.
Removing a Course from Favourites
To unsave a course, click the solid heart icon again — on either the course card in your favourites list or in the course details on the teacher's profile page. The heart returns to its outline state and the course is removed from your list immediately.
Removing a favourite does not affect any lessons you have already booked or any active enrollment with that teacher. To book a lesson once you've decided on a teacher, see booking your first trial lesson.
