Booking Your First Trial Lesson

A trial lesson is the best way to get started on Tissimo. It is a single session that lets you experience teaching with a specific teacher before committing to a full course. Here is how to book one.

Step 1: Find a Teacher

Browse the teacher directory to find a teacher who matches your instrument, skill level, and goals. You can filter by instrument, rating, level and price. Click any teacher card to open their full profile.

Step 2: Choose a Course

On the teacher's profile, you will see the courses they offer. Select the course that fits the instrument and style you want to study. Each course shows lesson durations and pricing.

Step 3: Select a Time Slot

Open the availability calendar and choose a date and time that works for you. Available slots are highlighted in green. Unavailable slots are greyed out.

If you do not see a time that works, try different weeks or contact the teacher directly to ask about availability not shown on the calendar.

Step 4: Complete Checkout

1. Review your selected time, duration, and price.
2. Click Checkout to open the payment window.
3. Add or confirm your payment method and click Buy to complete the booking.

You will receive a confirmation email with your lesson details and a link to access the classroom when it is time.

After Your Trial

Once your trial lesson is complete, you can:

• Continue with the same teacher — set up recurring weekly lessons to build on what you learned.
• Try a different teacher — if the trial was not what you expected, book a trial with another teacher.
• Leave a review — share your experience to help other students choose the right teacher.
