Viewing and Managing Your Practice History

Your practice history keeps a record of every session you log — how long you played, which piece you worked on, and when. You can find it in the History tab on the Practice page, alongside your other practice tools.

Where to Find Your Practice History

  1. Go to the Practice page.
  2. In the tabs on the right-hand panel (Sheet, Metronome, Notes, History), select History.

The panel opens with a Practice history heading, an Add manual link, and your list of logged sessions below.

What Each Session Shows

Each card in the list represents one day of practice and shows:

  • Date — the day you practiced
  • Start time — when the session began
  • Piece — the title of the sheet music you practiced
  • Total duration — how long you practiced that day
  • Preview — a thumbnail image or first-page PDF preview of the sheet music, when one is available

Your Last 30 Days

Above the list, a single total shows how much you have practiced over the last 30 days. It updates automatically as new sessions are logged.

How Sessions Are Recorded

  • Automatically — When you select a sheet and use the practice timer, stopping the timer saves a session to your history automatically. If no sheet is selected when you stop, the time is not logged.
  • Manually — Practiced away from Tissimo? Click Add manual at the top of the History tab and enter the date, start time, and duration (and, optionally, a piece, instrument, and memo), then click Submit. See Adding Practice Time Manually for the full walkthrough.

Editing and Deleting Sessions

  1. On any session card, click the menu (···) button.
  2. Choose Edit to change the date, time, duration, piece, instrument, or memo, or choose Delete to remove the session.

How History Supports Your Weekly Goal

Every logged session — whether timed or added manually — counts toward your weekly progress. The same practice records shown here are what fill your progress bar, so keeping your history accurate keeps your goal on track. Learn more in Using the Practice Page and Setting Your Weekly Practice Goal.
