Open a Music Sheet

From your Sheet Library you can open any piece of sheet music to view, play along, or use during a lesson. There are two ways to open a sheet depending on which view you are using.

In List View

When the Sheet Library is in list view, each piece of sheet music appears as a row. Click anywhere on the row to open that piece.

In Panel View

When the Sheet Library is in panel view, your sheets appear in a compact list beside the preview panel. To open a piece:

  1. Hover over the sheet music title in the list.
  2. Click the Open button that appears.

What Happens When You Open a Sheet

Opening a sheet loads the full sheet music viewer, where you can:

  • Page through all pages of the score
  • Use the built-in playback feature to hear the piece — to preview a sheet before opening it, see Preview & Listen to Sheet Music
  • Zoom in for a closer look at notation details
  • Share the sheet with a student during a live lesson

Switching Between Views

You can switch between list view and panel view using the view toggle in the Sheet Library toolbar. Choose whichever layout makes it easiest to browse your collection. To learn how to find new sheet music, see Search Your Sheet Music or Sort Your Sheet Music.
