Sort Your Sheet Music

The sort feature lets you reorder the sheet music in your sheet music library so you can quickly find what you need. You can sort by multiple criteria and toggle the sort direction.

Sort Options

The following sort options are available:

• Sheet title — alphabetically by piece name
• Composer — alphabetically by composer name
• Instrument — grouped by instrument
• Genre — grouped by musical genre
• Key — sorted by musical key
• Pages — from shortest to longest (or vice versa)

Reversing Sort Order

Click the up/down arrows next to the sort selector to reverse the sort direction. For example, switch from A→Z to Z→A, or from fewest pages to most.

Tips

• Combine sorting with filtering and searching to quickly locate a specific piece for an upcoming lesson.
• Sorting by instrument is useful if you teach multiple instruments and want to separate your libraries visually.
• You can also open any sheet directly from the library to preview it before your session.
• After using a piece in a lesson, consider rating and reviewing it to help other teachers discover great material.
