How the Tier System Affects Your Earnings

Tissimo's tier system determines the percentage of each lesson payment you take home. As you teach more hours, you move up in tiers and keep a larger share. On top of that, loyalty and price bonuses can increase your earnings even further.

Tier Levels and Percentages

Your tier is based on the total hours you have taught on Tissimo. Here are the current tier levels:

  • Tier 0 / Tier 1 — 68% take-home
  • Tier 2 — 71% take-home
  • Tier 3 — 74% take-home
  • Tier 4 — 77% take-home

As you accumulate teaching hours, you automatically advance to the next tier. Your dashboard shows your current tier and progress toward the next one.

Loyalty Bonus

The loyalty bonus rewards you for building long-term relationships with students. For every 10 lessons you complete with the same student, you earn an additional +0.25% on top of your tier percentage.

This bonus can stack up to a maximum of +3% per student. The more consistently you work with a student, the more you earn from each lesson.

Price Bonus

If you set your course price above $50 per hour, you receive an additional +0.25% for every $5 increment above $50. This bonus also caps at +5%.

For example, a course priced at $70 per hour would add +1% to your take-home percentage (four $5 increments above $50).

How Bonuses Stack

Loyalty and price bonuses stack on top of your tier percentage. At the highest tier with maximum bonuses, you could take home up to 85% of the lesson payment (77% base + 3% loyalty + 5% price).

You can see your current tier, active bonuses, and per-lesson earnings breakdown on your lesson receipts.
