Getting into Your Classroom

When it is time for your lesson, you access the classroom directly from your Tissimo account. Here is how to get in.

How to Join Your Classroom

1. Go to your Lessons dashboard.
2. Find your upcoming lesson and open the lesson details.
3. Click Join when the button becomes active (it activates 10 minutes before the lesson start time).
4. Allow camera and microphone access when your browser prompts you.
5. You will enter a pre-classroom waiting area to check your audio and video before the lesson begins.

Before You Enter

For the best experience, complete a quick device check before every lesson:

• Make sure your camera and microphone are working.
• Use headphones or earbuds to reduce echo.
• Choose a quiet space with good lighting.
• Close other apps or browser tabs that use your camera or microphone.

Classroom Button Not Active?

The Join button activates 10 minutes before the scheduled lesson start time. If it is not active yet, check that you are looking at the correct lesson and that your device clock is accurate.

If the button does not appear at all or you encounter an error when clicking it, try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, check Adjusting Classroom Audio and Camera Settings or contact Tissimo support.

What Happens Inside the Classroom

Once inside, you will see your teacher's video feed and your own self-view. The classroom includes tools for sharing sheet music, notes, and more. See Adjusting Classroom Audio and Camera Settings for help with in-lesson settings.
