Cancelling or Modifying a Recurring Lesson

If you need to change or stop your recurring lesson schedule, you have several options depending on whether you want to cancel a single occurrence, pause lessons temporarily, or end the recurring series entirely.

Cancelling a Single Recurring Lesson

To cancel just one lesson in your recurring schedule without affecting future lessons:

1. Go to your Lessons dashboard.
2. Find the specific upcoming lesson you want to cancel.
3. Open the lesson details and click Cancel lesson.
4. Confirm the cancellation.

This cancels only that one occurrence. Future recurring lessons remain scheduled.

Stopping Your Recurring Schedule

To stop all future recurring lessons with a teacher:

1. Go to your Lessons dashboard.
2. Find the recurring series you want to end.
3. Click Cancel Series on the series card.
4. Confirm your choice.

Credits for future lessons that were already charged are returned to your course balance, which can be used for future bookings with the same teacher, or you may request a refund. See How Refunds Work for details. If you only want a temporary break, use Pause on the series card instead — you can resume at any time.

Rescheduling a Single Occurrence

If you need to move one lesson to a different time without cancelling it, see How to Reschedule a Lesson (Students). Rescheduling a single occurrence only changes that one lesson — future recurring lessons stay on their original schedule.

Cancellation Policy and Refunds

Each teacher sets their own cancellation notice window. Cancelling before the notice window starts earns a credit back to your course balance; cancelling inside it — too close to the lesson — may mean the lesson is still charged. Check the teacher's policy in their profile or the course details page before cancelling.
