Browsing Sheet Music on Tissimo

Tissimo has a sheet music library where you can find pieces for practice, lessons, and performance. This article walks through reaching the store, searching and filtering, exploring a piece, previewing and listening, adding free sheets to your library, and saving priced sheets for later.

Reaching the sheet store

1. Click Sheet Music in the main navigation bar.
2. The store opens at /sheet-music, showing sheets you can browse, along with featured collections and recommended pieces.
3. You do not need an account to browse, but you will need to be signed in to add sheets to your library.

Searching for sheet music

Use the search bar to find a piece, composer, or title. Type your term and press Enter to see results — the search for sheet music article covers this in more detail. On the store page the search field is labelled Search store, and a clear (×) button appears once you have typed. You can also reorder results using the sort dropdown next to the search bar.

Filtering results

Narrow your results with the filter panel. Tissimo offers three filters:

• Composer: pick from popular composers such as J.S. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin.
• Genre: pick a style or period such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Jazz, or Pop.
• Instrument: piano, guitar, violin, voice, cello, flute, and more.

Composer and Genre are mutually exclusive — choosing a composer hides the genre options, and choosing a genre hides the composer options. The Instrument filter can be combined with either. A count next to Filter by shows how many filters are active, and Clear filters removes them all at once. Browsing sheet cards

Each sheet appears as a card in the results grid. A card shows:

• A preview thumbnail of the sheet
• The title
• The genre and composer
• A star rating, or “No ratings yet” if the piece has not been rated
• A play button for pieces that have an audio preview
• An Add to Library button for free sheets (it changes to Added once the sheet is in your library)

Exploring a piece

The detail page opens with the title, the contributor it comes from, a preview image of the sheet, and a play/pause control. Below that, a Sheet details panel lists everything Tissimo knows about the piece:

• SKU and Publisher
• Composers and Uploaded by
• Date
• Instrument, Scoring, Tempo, and BPM
• Key and Time signature
• Genre and Number of pages

Previewing and listening

Every detail page includes a preview image of the sheet so you can see the notation before adding it. Where a piece has an audio preview, the play/pause button next to the title plays it back — press it again to stop. For a full walkthrough, see preview and listen to sheet music.

Adding free sheets to your library

1. Open a free piece and click Add to library (on a card in the store you can use the Add to Library button directly).
2. If you are not signed in, Tissimo prompts you to create an account or log in first.
3. Once added, the button changes to Added to your library, with a View link to jump straight to the sheet.

Saving priced sheets to your wishlist

Some pieces are priced. While those are not yet available to add to your library, you can save them for later: on a priced piece that is not already in your library, use the Add to wishlist star. It switches to Remove from wishlist once saved. See saving sheet music to wishlist for details.

Using sheets from your library

Your added and uploaded sheets live in My Library. Open a sheet to view it in Tissimo’s built-in viewer and player: page through the notation, and play back pieces that include audio. See sheet library overview, open a music sheet, and view and play Tissimo sheets for more.

Sheets from your library can also be opened directly inside the Tissimo classroom during a lesson — when you or your teacher opens the sheet music panel, your library is right there, with no separate upload needed.
